Kaepernick obviously isn't protesting his situation, it is for those much less fortunate.

everyone calling for kaepernick to get thrown out of the country or for his head is closer to the old ussr in ideology than the usa. the whole reason that the usa was founded is so people could have their own ideas and views. police union saying they won't work the games is laughable.

p.s. i'm anything but a kaepernick apologist. i told my cousin and friends (all die hard 49er fans) that kaepernick would never win a super bowl or be a great qb because of his tattoos, his build (way too ripped) and him wearing his hat flat billed and slightly askew. later on when i got instagram and looked at his page it reiterated to me that he would never amount to anything on the football field.
