They are getting so out of control with trying to manage these games. The way the rules are set up they can call something on every play.

Agree 100%!!! The refs can control and coerce and shade whichever team they are told to by the NFL without any problem...

Ridiculous PI at the end of 1H gave Bears a TD and a 7-6 lead. SF quit after that. Like shitty teams do.

Yes they have too much control of the game and possible outcome. It reminds me of the things that crooked Ex NBA Ref Ed Donaghey talked about in his book.

Everybody I know, gamblers or not, are sick of it.
Every play they can call PI or defensive holding or offensive holding and the spectrum is too wide, a guy grabs one play on D and isn't called, the next time he barely touches and it is a 30 yard PI.

You could tell early on in the Pittsburgh/NY game that they weren't gonna let the game get into an offensive flow. A lot of holding calls, block in the back on punts, etc. They don't even really try and hide it anymore.
