Anyone know? Are they from an unbias conference or from the usually alumni pool they use during the regular season?

Thanks,

I saw both games and don't know what the fuss is about. Just because there was a big difference in the penalty yardage doesn't mean the refs were favoring Hawaii. Michigan State clearly was commiting those penalties. Look at the game going on right now-- there is a another huge discrepancy in penalties and the refs are from the pac 10. Hawaii just plays a more disciplined game.

the bows were basically in control most of yesterday`s game...at least from the point the receiver jumped from out of bounds to catch the td pass without establishing himself in bounds.....lmao....with 2 refs standing right there....

why isn`t that play used more often?.....a guy hiding on the sidelines then jumping into the air to catch the ball from out of bounds?...no need to answer....

after mich st,i was all over hawaii yeaterday...you`d have had to be totally ignorant of what went down vs northwestern and mich st not to have been on hawaii....

my question is,why is hawaii so disciplined in hawaii....and such a total wreck on the mainland?......a trainwreck,at that.....

again,no need to answer......it`s obvious....when officicals choose to control a game, they do.....somehow it`s magnified by around 10 times in hawaii...

What game were you watching? You think he was "hiding" on the sidelines? He was pushed out while going for the reception and was fast enough to get back in and make the catch. It was a great, and legal play. And go check out Yahoo Sports or any other site that has stats on previous games. When Hawaii went to Fresno and Boise, both Fresno and Boise got penalized a lot more than them there also. They just don't do a lot of stupid penalties like other teams. I agree they are a total wreck on the road, but it's not because of penalties.

I looked it up myself. These are the games Hawaii played on the road.

at Utep (6 penalties for 56 yards) Hawaii (1 penalty for 5 yards)

at Rice (9 penalties for 74 yards) Hawaii (3 penalties for 30 yards)

at Fresno State (7 penalties for 85 yards) Hawaii (4 penalties for 28 yards)

at Boise State (3 penalties for 35 yards) Hawaii (5 penalties for 40 yards)

I was mistaken about Boise, but you can clearly see the other three games Hawaii where Hawaii was penalized much less. Fact is, Hawaii was actually actually penalized more at home than on the road. In their 8 regular season home games, in 4 of them they were penalized more than the other team ( Tulsa, Nevada, L. Tech and Idaho) . I went 7-1 betting for or against Hawaii this season, only losing when I took them against UTEP. I've also seen every game they played. You morons only watch them for 2 games on ESPN and you think you know everything. Try doing some research before you write up your baseless posts.

thanks for the info...

I am a gambler and I like the fact the Hawaii is so predictable... and by the way, counting the penalty yardage in a particular game is a very poor indicator of "influence"... bottom line, island games are a good thing. Maybe next year they will let their receivers actually make the catch out of bounds... I wish I could be sure of that!
