Hey Coast.....actually...It probably would not be a good idea to admit it if I were a Pro Ref. I can say that I am not now a pro ref.

Let's just leave it at that. However, if you ever have a rules question in Football, Basketball or Baseball....I probably have the answer!

Yea....I don't know what happened to Furman...they have a solid team in the Southern. St. Peter's just couldn't make a free throw and Seton Hall couldn't make a basket at the end. That's the way it goes. I'm playing two tonight.

Appalachian St. is really not good enough to lay most teams points, much less double digits. I'm taking the points here.


Michigan St. -19

Michigan St. is the number 1 scoring offense and Purdue is just plain crap this year. They can't even stay close at home, I'm sure they can't stay close at Mich. St. I'm sure they will try and slow it down, but at the end of 40 minutes of basketball, they'll be doubled.

Sure hope tonight is better...last night was just one of those nights where everything went bad.

in baseball if a pitched ball bounces in the dirt and a batter swings and hits it and puts it in play. is it a live or dead ball?

Live ball....whatever he can get...ground ball off the bat has to be thrown out...fly ball caught for an out. The bounced ball makes no difference.

I would have been fine tonight if I had left out those sorry Clemson Tigers. Geeze. My bad on that one....there were much better games to play.3-2 for the night....6-7 for the week...After tomorrow, I hope to be 11-7. There are four really good games I'm looking at.

Denver -6 1/2 (They have a distinct advantage at home in the high altitude. Ark. St. has had 5 home games in a row and has not been on the road since 12/28. They've played 6 away games and Ark. St. has lost 5 of 6 with their lone away win at Hampton. Who? Yup, Hampton. Denver has won 3 straight and is coming home off of an away win at Florida Int. Lay the 6 1/2 points.)

Canisius +5 (All this team does is win money for me. Manhattan is not a great road team. I'm taking the 5 points.)

Wisconsin Milwaukee -17 (Cleveland St. is bad....and really bad on the road. They may play a tough first half, but like the Portland Trailblaizers, they fade in the second half.)

Rider +10 (Niagara is not good enough to give a decent team like Rider 10 points.)

St. Mary's PK (I like this pick more than any. Pepperdine's record is inflated and St. Mary's is underrated, especially at home. Pepperdine started out hot going 7-1, but are only 5-6 in their last 11 games and have lost by an average of 10 points per game over those 6 games. I'm putting whatever I win today on this game at 10:00)

Nothing worth playing yesterday. St. Pete just wasn't getting enough to make it worth risking. Good thing too!

Today is a different story! There are some great plays today and if the afternoon/early evening games go well....I have a couple of west coast games I want to play. Wish I had time to write up my analysis, but there are games to ref!
