Someone was asking me about a guy that wants a job in Vegas. This guy works for the Empress Group, supposedly including the Blue Parrot (I believe) Casino. Anyone know of this company? My knowledge of the casino guys is next to nothing.

Dont have anything else, just was asked by the headhunter who got me into my job. No one seems to have heard of them so maybe the guy is fibbing.

could be or it might be a bogus casino....the type that sprout like brussels every season and hop-skip it away with the $ when they first get a chance....I smell caution flags going up on this left and right bill...

Site looks nice, but never heard about them. Check the owners, or if you can get the name of the corporation, dunno. Where are they located, escazu, sabana, san pedro, heredia?? With more info, maybe someone around here can help more

found some info on this empressgamming.com people....thay are actually sharing the same facilities as SBG global. They do claim to have over 60k clients and to be in bussiness for over 8 seasons. SBG as you know is located over in the SARET Free Zone in Alajueala. They say that they share the same bussiness, same software and same phone lines, hence same wagering clerks. Sounds to me like it is either a) a new book created by the guys at SBG or b) an old book purchased by SBG and sharing clientel or c) a small book claiming to be large piggybacking SBG for reliability.
They are endorsed by the OSGA (http://www.osga.com/artman/publish/article_2587.shtml) I have been chekcing around and can't find any negetive comments about them (or positive ones except for the one in OSGA) No one has heard of them and they don't seem to care. Their sales team sucks....their Customer Service also...I asked a couple of questions to one of the sales guys who should be able to answer them in a heart beat and had to be placed on hold for 5 min each time toi get some sort of half decent response...Havn't made up my mind about them yet bill....what do you think?

I think they are an SBG clone, just used for specific marketing outlets, but basically still SBG. I'm not 100% on that though.

I told the headhunter that I asked around and no one heard about them, yet they claim 60k customers. Very suspicions, needs more background research. Now hearing they are affiliated with SBG I don't think I would give him much of a recommendation anyways.
