Lets cash one before the Tourney

Siena finished the season 4-1 and are now 6-1 in the last 7. They are also 12-3 at home. Illinois St is 3-10 on the road and it is already confirmed that Zach Lofton will not travel. Do not let the A&M game fool you they were down to 8 scholars hipped players and have shot horribly all year. IS is really in the same situation without Lofton and it will hurt them on the road against a team much bigger and deeper.

love Siena and have them -2

Hey Red,...does the line being at only -2 a bit odd though? With Zach out and 3-10 on road etc?? Just curious

Actually its the reason that I feel better about the game, although when I 1st look at it it made me nervous. Earlier this morning I saw it tracking backwards, I looked and saw a number of about 65% Siena, 35% Ill St........just looked again and its 73/27 Siena. So why is the line dropping instead of climbing? Doesn't always work the way I want it but I would have played this game for that reason anyways without the research. One factor I did not mention is that John Jones was out for Ill St for the last 13 games of the season. He's been back for the 2 Tourney games, and they've been better down low. But the strength of this team is the outside shot and Lofton out creates no depth.

Siena is bigger and deeper, they should play physical ball and force Ill St into foul trouble. They don't shoot the 3 well so penetrate the lanes and create fouls....they have the bench to do it. If they do that good things will happen. Texas A&M was down to 8 scholarshipped players and could not do that.....Siena can, and they should.

Siena up 11 shooting fifty percent and Bisping has 12 pts and 7 rebounds but they are not driving the lanes and getting fouls like they should be.... 7 left first half

Up 10 at the half but way too many 2nd shots for Il St and Siena is the one with 3 players with 2 fouls. If Siena doesn't change their gameplan this could get tight. Siena shooting well though and has hit some 3 balls....that's the good and Bisping is a one mane show 14 and 8
