Mississippi had the highest rate of adult obesity at 32.5 percent, making it the fifth year in a row that the state topped the list. Look inside the numbers and you may want to change your tune as to the partisanship of being a lardass. Fact, 39.9% of African Americans are considered obese in America. Mexican-Americans 34.4%. These two groups vote overwhelmingly democrat. It is more and more a reflection on poverty levels than dem/republican. The study is from 2000 but is probably the same or even worse today.
