I think a key to this game is going to be RB Jake Sharp...he's really starting to get things going and will give Kansas balance on offense, balance Texas Tech doesn't appear to have (or at least Leach doesn't stick with the run game enough)...it's also good to see some other playmaking WR's step up in the Kansas offense...
Statistically, Tech's offense was far more efficient vs A&M than K-State's was. Despite being -2 in turnovers, they cleaned Aggies clock pretty convincingly IMO at 7.1 yards per play. I don't think they had trouble with A&M at all, they were on the wrong end of the luck train in that first half.
Tech clocks Kansas.
This game is real simple. Its gonna be Arena Football. It will come down to whomever has the football last.
KU had trouble stopping OU (mild understatement)...but Tech's offense is quite as diverse. KU's offense just point up just under 500 yards on the best defense IMHO in the Big 12. KU's two losses have come to ranked teams on the road where they have covered both times. They now have a ranked team coming to Lawrence for the first time in a while.
Like MU, Tech tends to have one Saturday where they poop the bed. Will it be Saturday? However this is the best Tech team in years. I thought personally that Tech would be giving points here. But, this line moves to pick 'em by kickoff.
