Will start things off with a prop play. Hate to do that but thus far......I'm studying every angle and have not come up with much. There is no significant edge for either team. You have a youthful Denver team who plays well together vs a talented Laker team that has lost a step and can't put a team like Denver away, but are good enough as individuals to win enough one on ones to win games when they shoot well.
8 games played this season, and in only two have the teams shot over 16 three pointers....16 once and 19 that had zero chance of hitting were it not for a 78 point 4th quarter. The one thing that has been solid is perimeter defense...respecting and challenging the outside shot, forcing the ball inside. I don't expect that to change tonight. And although all 4 games have made it pretty much to the 200's....the defense of the Lakers has not been the same as in the regular season. If this is a statement game as some suggest, the statement begins with better defense.
Under 15 three pointer's Lakers/Nuggets.
