This is a thread for serious post of winner plays -- single straight ML or parlay maximum of 2 actions.

Vig should be within -300 to -800. Think of it as a 3U to 8U play.

The purpose of this is to help us when we run in a bad streak and need to recover the losses, hence recovery thread.

It shall cover all actions available, preferably put the play well ahead of time, nothing less than 3 hours within tipoff.

Everybody is welcome to post their recovery plays but please put effort to put explanation why you think the play is a high % winner.

Since I have recovered already my losses, I just wish to post examples of my recent recovery plays I used to give an idea.

Mavericks -650 -- This played yesterday and while Mavericks did not cover the 9pt spread, they win outright. It's a combination of the team Mavericks having strong offense, supported by the acquisition of a playmaker in Rajon Rondo and playing at home vs a tired Spurs team that benched its big 3 and Kawhi Leonard.

Lions -380
Packers -550

Both concluded they plays a while ago and both as expected won. They share the same rationale for winning outright which is that both teams needed to win outright to continue their playoff bids vs eliminated teams. Packers QB Rodgers played his worst game last game and there is expectation for him to play better, even if on the road. The Lions is a strong team --- offense and defense and they play the Bears who are in disarray and benched its white elephant QB Cutler.

Recovery alert this NFL Week 17 :

Texans ML - Texans lost their QB Fitzpatrick and had former QB Keenum welcomed to the fold and their defense won it against Ravens (my thought really was Vegas won it for Texans ). Texans play at home and with an extra week to get QB Keenum get more familiar with the offense and strategy vs the Jaguars. Jaguars already eliminated and looking at lottery. Texans still fighting to keep playoff hopes alive.

Seahawks ML - Seahawks are already in playoffs but wants something this week -- home field advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs. They play at home vs another team that's already eliminated and looking at lottery -- Rams.

Two other ML teams on the horizon but Vegas is still too scared to put the lines out yet.

Sunday Week 17 could be an auspicious day or a damning one.

Here's the 3rd recovery pick.

Broncos ML - Peyton got humiliated last Sunday so expect his man balls to be red and perhaps his red spot forehead to be back in anger. Raiders is not looking into lottery and is easing into QB Carr. Still Peyton at home on a must win to get the first round bye > Raiders and Carr experiment. Btw, Carr is missing practice due to illness.
