Recently heard on a Las Vegas sports talk radio program

I was listening one morning this past week to a Las Vegas radio sports talk station. The interviewer was introducing the speaker who sells his picks on the Web and has a phone service.

Here's how he introduced him:

"Welcome to XXXX. Glad to have you here today. I hear you have a GAME OF THE YEAR this weekend. Folks, XXX is 24-8 on his Games of the year in 2003! You can get it by going to his Web site at www.editedoutasanexample.com or calling 1-900-XXX-XXXX"

Err... ok. 24-8 on games of the year... in 2003.

Reminder, my ACC road underdog November Wednesday Night Game of the Year goes this week!

* Obvious guy notices that this means I'm documented 2-1 on my last three.

this sounds a LOT like stu feiner.

when i wanted to "bust" him i would call his 800-number free pick phone.

the guy had an NFL GOY every week - and the funniest part is he would admit it. he would call it, "NFL GOY, Part 2/3/4/etc."

what was even funnier is he would have a play like "NFL Game of the Century" (and this was back in the 20th Century) and tell us all how he was X-X so far this SEASON In Games/Century.

he would boast how NO ONE won more games/year then him - and he was right - for no other scampdicapper had 20 games/year EVERY WEEK! if the clown hi only 40% of his GOYs that was 8 per week - and that is more then anyone hits in a season.

I'm struggling through the movie Pearl Harbor right now. Is this the most boring movie ever? It must be near the top 10. I can't believe I paid $3 to rent this.
