RBC Heritage Plays

Kevin Kisner Top 10 (+450)/ To Win (+5500)

(1Unit —— .75U/.25)

Kisner has said there are spots where he can contend and spots where he can’t. This is one of the events he can win. He lost in a playoff to Furyk here in 2015 and was in contention again in 2018 before sliding on Sunday. The form is solid right now. He reached the match play final and was fourth at the Players on other Pete Dye courses. His approach was in good shape after the week at Augusta as well where he gained over a stroke per round on that field.

Adam Hadwin Top 10 (+500)

(1/2 Unit)

The Canuck has been scorching hot of late, notching three consecutive top 10 finishes, and despite a history that lacks success on this track, I do feel as if his game should be well-suited to compete. So with that said I’m going to roll with the Canadian at +500 to notch a top ten finish. Let’s win some money eh!

Si Wo Kim Top 10 (+500)

(1/2Unit)

From Canadian Poutine to Korean BBQ —— I’m backing Si Woo this week. He has played well before here. He looked like he’d come out on top in 2018, but the putter failed him late and he lost to Satoshi Kodaira in a playoff. The form has been solid all year long, and despite notching a single top 10 over 16 starts, he has managed 8 top 25 finishes this year. So with this week’s event being played at a short and tight course with an emphasis on precision over length, I like Kim to notch his second top 10 finish of the year.

Some Round 1 Action I'm quite a bit fond one;

Si Woo Kim

A) Si Woo Kim First Round Leader — .25Units (+5100)

B) Si Woo Kim > Kevin Na 1st Round — .75Units (+100)

I bet Si Woo Kim to finish inside the top ten, and I naturally like him to get off to a quick start this week too. As I mentioned yesterday, this weekend’s track, Harbour Town, is a Pete Dye course. Fortunately for us, those are also the course where all three of Si Woo Kim's PGA TOUR wins have come. This course is perfect for the South Korean international —- and he narrowly lost in a playoff here back in 2018. He’s also said in the past that his favorite course is Sedgefield Country Club, which has a number of similarities to Harbour Town.

So with some money already riding on Kim to put out a solid performance, I’ll sprinkle a dash on Si Woo to be the 1st Round Leader at +6000.

Kevin Kisner

A) Kevin Kisner > Billy Horschel 1st Round — 1Unit (-105)

As was the same with yesterday morning’s advice on backing Kisner to have a good weekend at the RBC this weekend, some tracks are suited for Kiz and some just aren’t (the long ones) —— but fortunately for Kisner RBC is being played at Harbour Town. So his length won’t be a hindrance, and if his iron play continues on the torrid pace it’s been on lately — gaining 1.3 shots on the field per round at Augusta and the Match Play —- he’s going to be tough to beat by anyone in the field this week.
