RAVENS/REDSKINS GAME INFO....

Being that i live right in the middle of where these two teams play, i thought i would pass some of the things im hearing about this game.

for starters, it sounds like the ravens players are taking this little rivalry a lot more seriously. lots of talk from the baltimore side from players, saying how they know this is important to the b-more fans etc...

also, you can expect the ravens to play starters into the second HALF today. everyone is expecting boller to get the start for the ravens, but redman should be getting the most playing time against the skins...

on the skins side, ramsey will be starting, but has a bruised hand, and wont play long. also of interest is at running back, trung canidate will see limited playing time so that the coaches can better evaluate who will be kept as the backup rb.

the skins offensive line is also a bit of a makeshift setup for tonights game. lenny friedman will be at center, since moore is still out, and moore's replacement last week is out with an elbow strain. rg r. thomas will also miss the game, and be replaced by a rookie.


all things considered, this game appears heavily in favor of the ravens. the players are talking like they want it more, and the matchups seem to heavily favor the ravens.

if b-mores defense continues to play the way they have so far, they wont NEED to put much on the scoreboard...

rpm...b'more d is excellent but washington's d is not that bad...i don't do much in the preseason but gotta believe spurrier will do whatever he has to in order to put a W up...it just looks like the right position to hit a decent play in the preseason...this will probably be my only play until the regular season...good luck....

Browns fan, not a 'skins fan, but live in d.c.area. Observations: QB Ramsey recovering from injured finger, won't play much tonite, per RPM above, and the running game has impressed no one. Skins' d may not be "that bad," but it certainly is not good, particularly on the line. This team is going to have to score points to win, preseason or otherwise. Way, way too many penalties first two games indicates lack of discipline and attention to detail...

i bought the 36.5 to 37....both defenses have looked very solid....both offenses look sketchy at best.....i`ll take under 37 and a little on the ravens +3........in a defensive ballgame....more on the under...g.l.

penalties hurt the ravens in the first half bad. didnt matter much though as most of the things being said all week turned out to be fairly inacurate. boller was supposed to go 1st quarter at the most, and ended up going the whole first half. add to that, he was worse than even i thought he would be...
