Big Ole Miss fan but I just think Kentucky's athleticism and size are too much for Rebels.

Henderson had a really good night earlier in the season in Lexington and Kentucky still won fairly easily (although it was a very competitive first half). Rebels are short on big guys and Kentucky should be able to dominate the boards (big weakness for Rebs) and alter a lot of shots defensively.

I think for Ole miss to have a chance, Henderson will have to get 25+. He has certainly shown he is capable of that but I think Calipari will put a long athletic defender on him (KY has no shortage of such players) and hold him in check.

Kentucky struggled on the road earlier in the season but have done better lately as the freshman have gained experience. Coming off a loss to Florida, I think Calipari will have the ready to go.

80-68 Cats.

Good luck.

excellent call

Thanks. It's nice to see games played like you expected. Got a little closer than it should have down the stretch when KY stopped transition. Their half court offense is lousy. A solid defensive and well disciplined team will give them fits in March.

84-70 final. Fairly close to my 80-68 prediction.

Will be be anxious to see Florida/Ole Miss line come Saturday. As great as Florida is, KY was probably a worse matchup for Ole Miss just because of their size and athleticism down low.

Any thoughts? Today

I am on Florida -7 but relatively small compared to Kentucky bet. As great as Florida is, Kentucky is actually a much worse matchup for the Rebels. Florida is more disciplined and better defensively than KY but tend to not blow opponents out. They've also really struggled in first halves lately. Rebs shoot well at home so the 7 points gave me pause. KY's size down low made a Rebs victory impossible. Also, Rebs and KY had played earlier in the year so it was pretty clear what was going to take place. No such advantage with this game.

Like I said, I'm on Florida but for about 1/10th of what I played on Kentucky.

Appreciate the insight. Like Kentucky. Think the Cincinnati coach might need a pace maker after that game. Pitino looked like he was on Xanax.
