Clemens, Pedro, R. Johnson, and Greg Maddux....

Its very difficult to say who would be the 4th on this list...

Clemens (Ace of Clubs,well traveled)
Johnson (Ace of Diamonds'backs')
Maddux (Ace of Hearts)
Pedro (Ace of Spades)

What order would you have? Did I really just put Pedro 4th?

slight disagreement here

Clemens
Maddux
Johnson
Pedro

Maddux is #2 on my list because he was simply dominating in his prime. he had pinpoint control and is one of the greatest fielding pitchers in history. he did it for a longer period of time than johnson. i would also wgaer he has been heavier wood and at higher prices than johnson has been over their careers.

I would have to rank Clemens, Maddux and Johnson so close that it would be difficult to delineate without lots of thought and even more research (which I will leave to someone else).

I assume the fourth is Pedro Martinez. Rank him where you like, I would not have him on my "team" under any circumstances. To me he is the poster child for "Spoiled, Self-Centered, Me-First, I Could Care Less About My Teammates Guy.}

But anyone who wants to write him off as 4th should go take a look at the back of his baseball card...

Its tough to put any of these 4, 4th...

Johnson had an insane run of his own SSI...winning nearly 80% or close to it for qyuits a few years...I`ll have to look it up, I remember viewing it a couple years ago and couldn`t believe Johnson`s win pct over a long period...

JMAN- If their careers ended today, I believe you have listed the correct order.

If there was a situation in which the world would end if we were playing space aliens a need to win one game I would go with:

Pedro...he is the coolest of the bunch and loves pressure.
Roger...gets to pumped
Snake face...wilts under pressure
Maddux...can't depend on his stuff needs umpire calls.

Patriot, you couldn't possibly be biased on this one, could?

1 Clemens...Don't like the guy, but what he's doing now cements it.
2 Maddux...career success and consistency better than Schill or Pedro
3 Schilling
4 Pedro

How is Pedro even on this list? The other three guys never sit down at the end of the year like he does. The all have world series rings, longevity and they all are "team" players. A good team like the "Yanks" beat Pedro every single time when it counts.

I wholeheartedly agree with Johnny! Pedro is a puss.

Has NO BUSINESS at all on this list.

In my opinion very hard to seperate the other three.
