Ramble....I love the Lem Banker quote. When I've had dinner with Lem, he regales the table with great quotes like that. BTW..Lem is NOT a bookie. He's one of the first major sports bettors. He used to "be involved" with books on the east coast, but since moving to Vegas in the 60s, he's been all playah, not a book. Lem is alive and well and of very good humor betting daily in Vegas. You can find his website through Don Best. I'm sure he'll get a good laugh if he reads this from someone calling him a bookie...even in 1973 when he was a major player putting daily hurts on the bookies in Vegas.

Wow, 3-6 today (Group A: 0-5 yikes, Group B: 3-1) no good. Lost George Mason by 1 point, Louisville by 2, Hofstra by 2........very close to 6-3 but that is the way the ball bounces.
