I never understood the rationale behind a reverse play. Seems like you are confident in the under bet but not sure on the side. If you go 1-1, you then you wind up paying more than betting your plays straight. What is the rationale behind the reverse play? If you are unsure about both your plays, doesn't it make sense to stay off the game or just play smaller for action?

After those bad beats in the last minute early in the season I feel some of their players have just thrown in the towel. They could be 8-4 easily right now.

OK, if 1-1 is worst case, then you are down to these scenarios. Again, not understanding the rationale to bet a reverse. I'm not trying to criticize here. Just trying to understand when/why to bet a reverse, especially if you think 1-1 is the worst case scenario. It seems the only advantage to a reverse is in a Lose-Lose situation (or just slightly in a Lose-Push)

i play reverse if im confident on a game and want some action on the over/under. so i what i do is i pick a team for 150 and over/under for 100 or 50. then i reverse it for 50.
