Does anyone really take her serious? I have tried to watch her show this week as well as Olberman and I can't stand either of them. I will not try to hide that I am a moderate conservative that is voting republican in this election.
I am also trying to be as open minded as possible and try to get my news from different sources to see all perspectives but hese two shows are a joke.

I am sure liberals could say the same about Hannity or Limbaugh but these shows are so biased it doesn't even seem to be a news show. Do they ever show the mistakes made by the democrats during interviews?

She seems to be an arrogant bull dyke.

Ok...nevermind that I'm a registered Democrat. As far as Maddow, I've always been a fan of hers. She relatively new to the MSM. I could careless that she can probably play in the WNBA, but what I do admire is her intelligence. My goodness is she smart. As sharp as a knife. She's a Rhodes scholar from Oxford and did her undergrad at Stanford in public policy. I haven't seen anyone beat her yet in a debate. She's also challenged both Sean Hannity and Bill Oreilly in an open debate only on a neutral site; two chairs and an open mic. Neither one of them want any part of her.

So again sure I'm biased because I'm a democrat. But as far as intelligence, she can go toe to toe with any of the seasoned minds of political opinion.

As a democrat, I think she sucks.

Hell she may be smart...but I can't listen to her for more than a minute to find out.

She does however make think...that anyone (including you or I) can have their own show someday.

I would like to see her debate Coulter. Not saying she isn't smart but really comes off as a bitch and very biased.

I loved Olbermann on ESPN SportsCenter...Loved him...Was a big fan...

I tried like hell to watch his MSNBC show, but it is unwatchable...I watched it for an entire week about 2 years ago, wanted to give it a chance, but the show is so sickeningly one-sided and overwhelmingly biased, it is simply unwatchable...It's a total waste of a talented broadcaster...I did laught when I heard him call Limbaugh "the Comedian Rush Limbaugh", but on the flip side, I guess Limbaugh could do the same and refer to Keith as "the Comedian Keith Olbermann"...

I have no idea how long this Rachel Maddow has been on the air, but I tried to watch her a few days ago for the first time and made it through about 10 minutes...No thanks...

And Hannity is also completely unwatchable for me, too...I gave that show a chance, watching it for about 2 weeks 2 years ago...Nope, he is way too one-sided and annoying and Colmes doesn't balance him out enough...

I don't doubt that Maddow is very intelligent...So is Olbermann...Which doesn't mean anything because as smart as they both are, what, they aren't interested in fairness or being unbias on their shows?...Some very intelligent people can be dangerous as they can be too smart for their own good, as they say...

I had a high school gym teacher that met Michael Jordan and told him that if he ever came to the town I went to high school in, they could play one on one, and MJ would lose. Michael Jordan has never shown up.

I htink its fair to say MSNBC left counter punch to the rights Fox. Thats all it is. There was CNN/FOX/MSNBC. I figure MSNBC too offense to the "rightist" views of fox that went unchecked nor unchallenged. So MSNBC went hard left to counter them. It basically created a home for the left does Fox for right.

MSNBC is much more biased then Fox. O'reilly and H&C are debate shows. Olbermann & Maddow are just 2 hard lefties spewing hard left talking points, no debate, no opposing views allowed.

Besides for Keith Overbite she may be the most left leaning political show host on the planet. I really wonder what makes her tick!

I may be wrong, but I had thought CNN and FoxNews cancelled each other out for the most part...CNN is clearly a little LEFT, and FoxNews is clearly a little more RIGHT than CNN is LEFT, but not by much...Both CNN and FoxNews at least, will present both sides fairly equally...MSNBC is just way, way LEFT...Rarely do they offer up the other side to balance things out...Rarely...They just spew vitriol show after show...

And I really don't care about Dems vs. Repubs or Liberals vs. Conservatives, anyway...

I care about RIGHT vs. WRONG...TRUTH vs. LIES...

I could care fu^king less about what ideaology belongs to what party and what party has the "power" and what party the President belongs to...Could care less...

What I do care about is our policy-makers doing what is best for our country and having the guts to say fuck-you to voting along "party lines"...

Every Congressman and Senator retires from Washington a multi-millionaire and everyone knows how that is happening...Special interests are buying our lawmakers, who have not just one hand out these days, but two, and in some cases they are holding satchels to fill up...

Whatever happened to term limits??...

These career politicians will die before they ever leave Washington these days...WAY too much money to be made under the table or behind closed doors...

Presidential administrations are bought and paid for these days and lobbyists and cabinet appointees now run the country...

Sad...Tragic really, and it's spiraling out of control with Greed at the wheel...

The obvious difference between Maddow and the two you mention is that Maddow doesn't just make stuff up.

You may choose to disagree with her but she deals only in what the Right says and does. Unlike the talking heads you note, she doesn't fabricate evidence out of whole cloth. She doesn't need to.

Lemme include that unlike Hannity and Oreilly, Maddow never has to yell to make a convincing point. Instead she just fires away with facts. And thanks for reminding me Alatheo, she doesn't fabricate stories like those two. She is definitely a far leaning lefty TV/radio personality, but unlike Hannity and Oreilly she doesn't try stretching the truth or go over the top to get her point across. She only deals in facts. That's probably why I like her so much because she's remembers and knows alot for someone so young in the game. It's impressive.

Well the difference here is that your teacher is a nobody. He's insignificant compared to Jordan. Maddow, Oreilly, and Hannity share competing timeslots on TV and radio.

she's definitely the pitcher

her ratings will suck, but MSNBC has carried slow pitch loser ball for so long, I think they don't mind being last place losers.

Should new management ever arrive, some heads will be rolling

Dave my only proof is on her radio show. She consistently calls out OReilly or Hannity on her radio show where she's far more opinionated obviously than on MSNBC. I i can find a link i'll post it. But i know for a long time now she's called em both out to that debate setting on her show numerous times.

O'reilly, Hannity, etc are much higher up in the ratings. She is doing a nice ploy to try to use them to get her some attention.
