Starting an NHL thread this year with the basis of the selections taken from a combination of systems and theories that I have co-mingled together. A thanks to PacMan (RIP) and Larry Legend, without whom I would have had to come up with something myself instead of taking parts of their systems and piecing it together.
On a side note: I do not follow hockey. A couple of years ago i did (Had NYR season tix). I do watch a little on TV, but I find it a little boring (unless you are at the game sitting in the stands).
There will be 10 separate criteria plays and are broken down as follows:
#1 Against Road Teams (Fav or Dog)
#2 On Road Favorites
#3 On Road Underdogs
#4 On Home Favorites
#5 On Road Favorites
#6 On Home Favorites
#7 On Road Favorites
#8 On Road Underdogs
#9 On Home Favorites
#10 On Road Favorites
Will there be a lot of plays? Yes there will. I am still in the process of refining and/or decreasing the number of criteria plays. As far as past success is concerned, #8 has been the best by far simply because the plays are all road dogs and usually above +150. This has been tracked only for the past 2 years and is still a work in progress.
Anyway, I usually wait until 18-20 games are played, but I looked at the games last night and it was profitable and this afternoon's game won as well.
All plays in this thread are 1 unit plays. Dogs risking 1 unit, Favs to win 1 unit.
