Quick start to week 10, Take ND over VT ASAP

No matter what the number is in ND vs VT game take ND on the open. Getting hammered by Mich sets up the perfect situation for Vegas to put a soft number on ND. VT is very weak in the trenches, ND will manhandle them.

If for some bazaar reason Vegas opens this game -3 ND, be careful being too aggressive on ND. If the Open is -14 or better ND, tease ND down 6-7 for a 99% chance of a win.

VT has improved especially with turnovers. But the advantage ND has, goes back to years of superior recruiting in the trenches and years of talent development, from the training table to the weight room. If VT goes back to being a turnover machine this will be a blowout with ND winning by 30+ points.

Tease Miami at FSU this week up to as close to +10 as you can get. Expect FSU to be favored by 1-2, looks for it to increase to -3 as the week passes.

Utah should open as a dog to Washington at home. Try to tease Utah up to +12 or better vs Washington at home. I'd expect money to flow towards Utah.

I'm very interested in the UGA/UF game. UGA at -7 or better gives me a chance to tease UF up to +14 or better at home. UF played LSU pretty tough on the road though the score lopsided. UGA -7 or less shows Vegas respects UF at home. Need to make sure UF has it's defense intact, missing those two DE's really hurt them.

Thanks, -4.5 tells me UF is getting some respect in this game. I think money will flow to UGA, If I can get UF +14 or better this week, teased +7, I'll load up pretty heavy. Either way I'll be on UF teased at +11.5 or better.

ND -17.5? Okay Tease ND down 7 to -10.5. ND will dominate in the trenches. I have no idea who is starting for VT at QB could be the 3rd string guy, who came in for the UNC game. Big kid, strong runner, okay arm. No idea how accurate he is. UNC was depleted in the secondary vs VT, They had the game won in 5th OT had kicker not been a foot wide right. ND presents a much better front 7 then UNC and is loaded in the secondary. God forbid if the 3rd string guy gets hurt, Fuente will have to put Willis back in. 3-4 turnovers guaranteed. I suspect ND will come after who ever is at QB for VT, and a mobile QB should not be too much trouble for their front 7.

Money has flowed towards FSU just as I suspected. -4 for FSU now. Teasing Miami up to +11, I am tempted to add Miami to my ML 100k parlay this week +165. My theory is Vegas opens a number with the expectations the public will move money in one direction. In this case FSU opened -1 at home vs a very inconsistent Miami team. I was surprised at that number thinking it should have been -7 or better. Yes, FSU has improved, I just don't believe they can cover +11 vs Miami.

If the serious Miami team shows up this week, Willie Taggert will have his hands full and Miami SU wins this game. Can anyone tell me which Miami team will show up this week?:think2:

Miami has actually led or have been tied in the 4th quarter in ALL 4 of their losses.

Give them a good kicker and they could be 7-1 right now

Nice to know about Miami. A little more on VT and ND. Yes, VT has gotten better on defense for one main reason. The secondary has grown up in the last 6 games. Foster has more confidence in the group and that has allowed him to attack more with the front 7. VT's has had more sacks in the last 3 weeks, they are playing fast and attacking just as Foster coaches. The safety that is playing boundary corner, is a very good athlete and the light bulb has come on for him in the last few weeks. He has size and is covering much better. Foster also found another corner, Conners, who has also blossomed as the season has developed. On the DL VT is still soft, however, with the secondary playing much better Foster has them moving, taking risks and attacking. Even the LB's are doing a better job at gap control.

Notre Dame is not Rhode Island or UNC for that matter. I suspect Foster will have to be more contained and less aggressive against a superior OL he is facing this week. ND's QB has never impressed me, if VT's Secondary really has stepped up to facing Brock and the WR's VT has a chance to keep inside the +17.5. I have ND teased down to -10.5, Foster will have to hold ND to less then 17 for VT to come close to covering +10.5.

Notre Dame should be able to gash VT on the ground this week. In the trenches Notre Dame is 3 years ahead of VT at this point. With that advantage on the ground, we are getting Brock and the WR's for free, I like freew-thumbs!^

Notre Dame wins but my $3 dollars will be on Virginia Tech +17.5. VT is
coming off a 3 game winning streak and a much needed open date to get
some players healed up. ND's leading rusher is banged up (ribs) and won't
be at full speed. Granted, the Irish are the better team but not 17.5 points
on this game.

Against the wall: Since 2011, Brian Kelly has won only 14 of 29 games played
from Halloween on out. Hoping the spooks and ghost keep working against the
Irish.

I am going to have Tenn in my ML parlay this week. At home opened at -10, is respectable, now moving to -12. Opening Tenn at -7 or less would have invited the public to push the number higher. At -10 they still did push it higher. Maybe the tenn faithful are jumping the shark, after a decade of horrible football, and pushing the number too high. I'm teasing TEnn down 7 to -5. They seem to have turned the corner so -5 is not too high of a bar. They still have a long ways to go to recover their greatness as a program. UAB should lose to Tenn at least.
