Quick Question about the damn wind...

OK I've only been down here since May, so I've not been through a full dry season. But what's the deal with the winds up in Santana. I just moved up to a nice place a couple of kilometers southwest of Cruz Rojo, way up the hill, and it's so damn windy that I can't even use the swimming pool in my new apartment because it's too cold!!!!

Is this ever going to die down as we progress into the dry season? Or am I just up too high (by Rancho de Macho, for those who know of it) to ever have the wind stop blowing???

its pretty windy, its certainly not the norm, it's also quite cold, it should be back to normal jan or feb soon (I hope), keep the pool clean and ready to arty:

Wolfie: Don't really know but I do know that I'm out in town pretty regularly when I get out of the office. Not been out to a lot of different places yet but I do like this Bar de Amigos. The girl working there is pretty hot, but it's my little hole-in-the-wall, not a real big spot for partying or anything like that....

yeah its been really windy lately. i thought it was just cold in Cartago, but now that i live in the city its seems like the same weather. BTW iv'e been to Bar de Amigos. not a bad place and yes the bartender girl is pretty hot.

its in the center of santa ana. i forget where its near as i dont know the area too well. its a small bar. not a bad place to start off the night.
