Not at all, many time he held the ball too long, and threw many in the dirt.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Manning can't win the big one. How much proof do you need.

Not at all. He is just NOT a big game qb. Plain and simple. He'll continue to rack up the stats and be talked up by the media as being a great qb, but certainly his ability to carry a team in a big game leaves a lot to be desired. It was the same way with him in college against the Fl Gators. Tennessee wanted to win that game more then anything, yet he never stepped up and delivered the victory. Throwing a zillion td's against the Detroit Lions of the world mean nothing.

Manning looked terrible when he had the ball, which was very little. Wonder whatever made people includeing myself think it would be any different that weather. Manning not good outside the domes, and those receivers drop balls that they would have surely caught inside. JMO

The Colts bought into that crap about the field and the weather today. They lost the game before it started b/c they allowed themselves mentally to become victims of the head game that Bellichek was playing with them. NE won on heart and determination against who has no heart or passion to step up and perform on center stage.

Thats what they used to say about Elway too.

When the Colts get some run-stuffers on the defensive line, they will be legit.

It was 6-3 at half. I don't think that was the case.

It was lucky to be even that close. Easily could have been 14-0 Pats.

So the team that was defeated by the elements before the game started must have shown some heart then?

Bottom line, NE threw out a gimmick D that confused Manning and his receivers. Pats also exploited the rushing D of the Colts. Ended up wearing them down. Pats should win by 10+ points next week.

Cold weather affected him and receivers
