i was watching a race last week and a horse was 99-1 won, the trifecta showed a payout of the winning horse which was number 13 followed by all-all
what does this mean when the other 2 horses are not shown in the trifecta and are read by the all-all
I have seen Pick 3's pay off as Any one # horse / all / all.
Never seen a longshot winning horse triple pay off with # horse /all / all. One would thing at least one gambler would have the long shot in the mix -- either on straight ticket or in a box ticket.
Payout on the triple should have been HUGE if it was a Triple pay-out.
On the other side if the long shot came in third (show) I have seen triples pay-out # of horse / # of horse / all because nobody used the third place finisher in their plays. Those type of payoffs are ususlly small payouts as the track has to pay all combinations.
I tried to look for the race in question thru TVG.... and Japan racing .. could have been a replay of that unusual payout race.
