I am having a debate with a friend about what the line would have been if oregon faced alabama. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Simulators all over the place online, google it:

Neutral field Bama -3 to -6 and total around 61

That would be the easiest bet in the history of betting CFB......easier than the Bama/ND game last year. There is no way the line would be less than 7. I think it would be closer to 10.

Do you forget the 2011 National Championship game? Final score Oregon 19 Auburn 22, won by Auburn on a field goal as time expired. I'd say Oregon , although not the same team , handled themselves pretty well against the SEC Champ. lead by the great Cam Newton. So, easiest bet in the history of betting as far as Oregon being the underdog vs Alabama , is a bit of a stretch. If I remember correctly Oregon was a 3 point underdog. If you got 3.5 Duck backers cashed their ticket.

I'm not a bookie, but from a ratings standpoint I have Bama -4 over the Ducks on a neutral field. With a 100% healthy Mariota I think it could be a close game.
