Yeah, I bet sports, and I share my handicapping here nearly every day.:toast:

Neither MARK L (aka "Joe C") nor DOC MERCER have invested any of their RxForum time into either handicapping or forecasting sports events.

Mark is a periodic participator in the "Rx Pundit Football Pool" each fall wherein he selects a handful of NFL games, much like the local TV news anchors pick their best three or maybe like the random feature at the end of the Friday newscast where a local golden retriever squats over a big carpet on top of a certain NFL matchup.

I use Betfair, but my days of big risks are no longer.

Fun only.
Total loser, with occasional winnah bits.

I had periods of being a winnah in the past but I had to adopt a mind crushingly boring strategy to achieve any steady success at sports and it wasn't worth the teensy return achieved.
You'd be better off driving a cab for a couple of days a week.

Well, you can win betting sports but it takes hours of handicapping work, the ability to get good lines and juice, and immaculate statistical record keeping. There are team tendencies that win for me year after year in the 3 major sports. But it is very tiring and tedious work for sure.
