Being logged in doesn't mean he is working. His official hours are from 9PM EST until approximately 3AM EST. A lot of days he does post on his own time which is his perrogative.

Obviously we don't ask our mods to work 7 nights a week 365 nights a year. I do not know if Barman answered the PM but he did work tonight beginning at around 11PM EST. He was late because of a previous commitment and that was when he arrived back home. Most all mods have leeway in their work schedules because in most cases they are working here as second or even third jobs.
