Question about privacy on the internet...

Let's say there is a poster on a forum who is posting your personal information... full name, school email address, phone number, etc... Obviously, that would be some kind of harassment by the person doing it.

But the question I have is what kind of actions I could take against a forum that facilitated that behavior? Don't worry, it isn't this forum or anything.

Is it worth it to try to take any action? Doubt you get much from a forum anyway

Dont give them your birthday....but then again they could probably get it without you knowing it as well.

No privacy these days online or anywhere. They always want your phone, email, birthday, etc.
