Rainbow, since you are there it is a definate difference. Just like when I am in Vegas. I am not worrying about the guy who is putting bets in for me or worrying about if he is telling me the best number or doing the walk around thing like I like to do.
Similar to betting at a book in Costa Rica when you aren't there. I can't just walk out my door and do it myself. So there is always alevel of trust that goes above and beyond the norm.
I don't trust the guy putting the plays in for me, but he is ncessary, and I trust his wife. So it is a compromise.
I might trust a book in Costa Rica, but not the country itself. Because you never know from one day until the next what might happen down there.
it is bad enough in the 'good' places. I thought I was going to get screwed back when the British books eliminated US players, I had money at Wil Hill and Bowmans. Quite a bit at that time. But I got it all.
Even when Canbet got bought I thought the US customer thing would be shortlived. But somehow they got by it. But they suck now anyways so it is no matter.
So it isn't always the books or its practices. But the laws of the land, so to speak.
So since you are htere, it is much easier for you to feel safe and secure. Because you don't have to worry about anything (except getting shot or kidnapped :lolBIG: ).
