I can remember a time many years ago when I would look at the board and thought that I could pick all 16 winners ATS each and every week without capping at all. I was so wrong. I’ll give you a piece of advice today. The day that you look at that board and think to yourself, “Boy do I have my work cut out for me this week” will be the day that you become much wiser at exploiting the NFL. Until then, just smile at those who say they can and go on. Do not argue with them. You know better than that. Do not ever stop reminding yourself that No team is ever as bad as they may seem to be and No team is ever as invincible as they appear to be. If you can convince yourself of those things, then you can do this successfully with dedication and lots of time. Keep a clear open mind, be careful who you let get into your head and stay focused on the prize.
In 2002, I thought that I was invincible. I had the world in the palm of my hand and I truly thought that I had found happiness. I was so wrong. I took life for granted as most of us do each and every single day. I truly believed that I had control of everything and everyone around me. I was so wrong. Control was just a figment of my imagination. I made a huge mistake in December of that year in which I would eventually pay the price.
In 2003, I had something very special taken from me for that mistake. I will live with that for the rest of my life because there are just simply some things that money cannot buy. I regret what I did that day in 2002. I wish that I could take it back. Fortunately, there was something positive that came out of that period of hell. I learned from my mistake I learned to be patient and I learned to focus.
To me, those are the keys to life and happiness. You have to learn from your mistakes otherwise you just do circles and become dizzy. Study your losses more than your winners. I spend more time on my losses than I do my winners. Trust me on this one. Just try it and see how much more focused you become. I promise you that you will not ever read these words in a professional gambling book but you will hear it from me. What you lose is more important than what you gain. You have to fully understand why you lost what you did whether it is a bet or something more important before you can continue and expect to gain. You have to protect yourself from self exposure to ignorance. That sounds funny but it is true.

Moving right along into week #6 and Ill change nothing. I’ll keep hammering the same teams until I feel it is time to jump ship. That time has not come yet. It will come; I assure you of that but it is not this week.
