No sir, I am not buying worthless points. If you care to explain, then I would definitely pay attention to your reasoning. However, I can explain my reasoning and my math also. I dont think that you are going to be able to buy what I want with any better odds than what I have.
My target or goal of this wager is 3 ML wins. Three straight up winners is all that I desire with this wager. In my opinion, these will be the next three SU winners in the NFL. The first two are playing for far more than any other of the team in the league. Both teams are superior but both teams are very beatable. I don't believe this to be a week for either team to lose.

This wager pays $300 less but I get 2' points and possibly more on the final open spot for the 12 percent. Those 2' points would have cost me 25 percent any other way. I do not see those 2' points as worthless. I see them as a Kmart Blue light 1/2 price special.
I am not really sure how I could possibly be buying worthless points especially since my original intentions were the ML. I am pretty sure that I accomplished my goal and got some free points by simply placing my wager in a different way.
If you can show me a better solution with a higher return I will not only be impressed, I will have learned something.
Why would you call any point a worthless point when it is on sale for 1/2 price ? I value the 3 and the 7 and hooks more than anything but they certainly are not what everything is based upon.
I am not the biggest fan of teasers myself. Actually, I prefer to to play the spread but unfortunately, things were not working in my favor for the first 7 weeks. I am at the point of the season where everything that I have absorbed is either going to be wasted or I have to take some shots. I do not support the theory of chipping my way out of a hole. I prefer to come back with a vengeance and swing hard.
Points may not matter to some people but they kick my ass constantly. Anyone who truly believes that points do not matter has no business gambling or they are telling stories. Points are everything. The spread is precisely where every single poster on this board starts. Anyone who denies that is either mentally disturbed or a liar. The theory that points only come into play 17% of the time is 100% twisted hogwash. To benefit from that theory, one would have to play every number on the board. Pure hog wash.
