Michigan has one of, if not the best secondary in the country. So unfortunately we will never know once they take them out.

Three big games imo or road blocks for Purdue. Next week at Penn State where they have never won, Michigan at home, and at Iowa. Wisconsin and Ohio State will be no challenge and they will handle Northwestern and Indiana. I predict they lose no more than 2 most likely 1 but big game is with Michigan or Iowa. I do like their chances to win Big 10 but National Title contender ask me after October.

The defense, especially tackling must improve dramatically. it would be nice, but they'll get tripped up sooner or later.

I'd take some action on Michigan there anyday. Marlin Jackson alone ihas more speed and athleticism then the whole entire Notre Dame secondary.

Here is a question. How many would be really surprised to see them go undefeated?


Last year LSU kind of came from nowhere to win the National Championship.
Every so often a team thought to be a little lower rises up and goes undefeated and wins it all (Ohio State 2 years ago).

I don't think it would surprise me to see them go undefeated. Always like to cheer for the little guys.

Not a huge Boilermaker fan, but I did date my industrial engineer prof when I was doing my undergrad, and she was a Purdue alum. But anyway, Purdue will complete my 4 teamer today.
