ALOHA GANG, so where are the guys who go against the public. The public seems to be all over this one. Are they now following the public. North Texas seems to be the play, but I am passing on this one, because of the fact that N Mexico St. Off is really pretty good. It is their defense that sucks. Aloha Sasquatch, congrats and good capping on the NNSt game. As far as Hawaii goes, all I can say to you to help make you feel alittle better, because I cant give any guarantees that they will win, only idiots do that, is to let you know that the Warriors will be very siked up for this game.
This wont be such a revenge game for them due to last years lost. This is just going to be a game which they will have all the motivation to win, because of the name team coming here to play. To the Warriors, it wont matter that Alabama is having a down year or that they are not feared as much as in the past. No, the Warriors only see and hear and know the name ALABAMA, ALABAMA, ALABAMA.
So no matter how anyone on the mainland is saying that this is not much of a game or so what if Hawaii beats them. Or this is not a big game. Well, just to reiterate to you again, this is a big game for Hawaii, and I also include all the people who call Hawaii home. This is a big game period. Its ALABAMA! The name says it all.
Hawaii will be up for this one , I can promise you that much. The chance to just play and win against such a name brand and famous football program is HUGE. I wouldnt be so concerned also about the fact that Boise St. is coming here the following week, unless they lose to Nevada this week. If that happens, then hold on cause now the Warriors will be facing to meaningful games. Still, they and especially Coach Jones, will try everything in their power to try to beat Alabama, and especially on National TV.
Sasquatch, I think, you got a winner. At least everything is in favor of Hawaii. Even the Vegas boys are concerned by this game by only making Alabama a -3 point fav. APPRECIATE THE REASSURANCE CO-CAPTAIN. I FEEL HAWAII IS BETTER THAN LAST YEAR WHILE ALABAMA IS MUCH WEAKER. HAWAII'S PASSING IS CLICKING ON ALL CYLINDERS. THIS OPENS UP THEIR RUNNING GAME WHICH IS AVERAGING 5 A CARRY WHILE BAMA IS GIVING UP THE SAME OVER THE LAST 3. THE TIDE DOES NOT SEE THIS TYPE OF AERIAL ATTACK IN THE SEC, AND I FEEL THEIR D WILL BE STRETCHED AND OFF BALANCE FROM THE GET GO. I REALLY DON'T SEE THEM PUTTING MUCH PRESSURE ON THE QB EITHER.
HAWAII IS A TREMENDOUS HOME TEAM. ALABAMA HAS STRUGGLED OTR, AND THIS IS NO ORDINARY ROAD GAME WITH THE TRAVEL DISTANCE AND THE DISTRACTION OF A VACATION ATMOSPHERE. IT IS TRUE THAT BAMA MAY SEE THIS AS THEIR BOWL GAME, BUT I FEEL, AS YOU DO, THAT HAWAII WILL BE UP FOR IT JUST AS MUCH IF NOT MORE. I ALSO FEEL THAT ALABAMA'S OFFENSE IS TOO ANEMIC TO CONSISTENTLY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HAWAII'S SUSPECT D.

Sasquatch, anytime my friend. Hey got another thing you could look out for which may play a big part in the outcome of this game. Check the weather in Alabama. Last year when Alabama came here, the weather their was like under 50 degrees, but the Hawaii weather was like in the high 80's. This was a big advantage for Hawaii, as the word around town was that the humidity and change in the weather temp. would certainly affect Alabama. And sure enough if you watch the game, by the third Quarter about 1/3 into it, the boys on Off. was on the sidelines gasping for air. They were totally overwhelmed by the weather change. Just like how we see it affect a warm weather team going to cold weather states, the opposite also holds true to.
This is where I think Hawaii will have a big advantage, especially on the D line where they rotate around 10 players. But even more bigger on the Off and the WR, where they rotate around 12 receivers. And all 12 , if I am not mistaken all caught a TD this year, as Chang utilizes all of them.

SOUNDS BETTER AND BETTER. I'M 2-3 ON MY POSTED POTW'S IN LUCKYDAN'S THREAD, BUT COULD EASILY HAVE BEEN 4-1. OLE MISS ALLOWED SOUTH CAROLINA TO SCORE 26 UNANSWERED (THEY WENT FOR TWO TWICE AND FAILED) IN SC'S LAST FOUR POSSESSIONS TO BACKDOOR ME BY 3.5. IN ANOTHER, CAL TURNED THE BALL OVER IN THEIR OWN TERRITORY LATE IN THE 4TH WHICH ALLOWED OREGON TO BACKDOOR ME WITH A TD WITH LESS THAN A MINUTE TO PLAY. I DESERVED MY OTHER LOSS AS OREGON SIMPLY OUTPLAYED OREGON ST LAST WEEK. I HAD TWO EASY WINNERS WITH MEMPHIS OVER TULANE, AND KANSAS ST OVER NEBRASKA.
