I don't know if this works as well in the NFL as in college football but going to give it a shot. On Friday in college football the public was on Arkansas and Texas A&M. Yesterday the public was on Notre Dame and OK State. We all know the results of those games and one NFL game falls into the same catergory today. Tennesse laying 1. Hope this keeps rolling around. Looks like the public is on Houston pretty heavily. I like that. Good luck to all on their plays today.

Chargers are definite public dogs in this game. I wouldn't say the Saints are though; ATL being bet around 60% in that game.

Yes, the Chargers are also a big public dogg. I just hate putting anything on the Chiefs as they really disappoint me. But looking what has happened with the doggs lately I will probably place a small wager on them also. Good luck.

I have to agee the anti public card this weekend is the way to go. Books usually start making back all they lost this time of year. But then again look at last weekend. I will take my chances that won't happen again.

Agreed, I'm playing all of them myself. A weekend or two like last and we might start hearing about slow/no pays from the lesser books.

Best of luck to all.

FTony, I use wagerline.com under consensus reports to see what side the public is on. Hope this helps.

I compare SIA's lines to sharp books like Pinnacle.
Then I look at Sportsinsights.com, caribsports.com, and Sportsbook.com all have Player Picks that display % of bets taken on the teams. I look for around 60-65% or higher on all 4 of those above sites/methods.

If you've ever attempted middling #'s from SIA vs. Pinn, you know Pinnacle, more often than not, has the right side.

Doesn't SIA just raise all the Favorites?? I know it's a square's book.

Tony,

Yes, SIA does. When they have an overpriced favorite you can bet the dog is the right side.

Currently they have:
PHL -7 115
NE -7 120

I think that's a good sign for the dogs in both of those games. You never know from game to game, but long-term I find it works for me.

Bodog has raised fav's also... until a min ago they still had NYG +7.5-115 when most every other book had +6.5

Not as insane as SIA is but still some value. Careful of SIA, I won a ton two years ago by chance (was midling with Pinnacle) and they kicked me out and took a LONG time to pay me. I got it but was worried for a week or two.

Yeah, I got booted from SIA last year too. You see exactly what I'm talking about; Pinnacle lines win way more than the SIA ones. Now I use SIA as a capping tool only.
