The biggest public dog last round was Oral Roberts.

From the Don Best screen:

Loyola Chicago opened at -7.0 and closed at -7.0, with 63% of the tickets on Oregon St.

Baylor opened at -6.0 and now -7.5, with 66% of tickets on Baylor.

Arkansas opened -11.0, currently -11.5, and and 65% of tickets on Oral Roberts.

Houston opened at -6.0, now at -6.5, with 66% of tickets on Syracuse.

A lot of respected bettors are on Oregon St. and Syracuse. :)!/

Looks like nobody is taking Villanova.

No wonder Oregon St was a big play. They’re definitely the better team.

This begs the question of the true information viability of the public dog at this point of the tournament. There are only so many teams. You can’t really exploit the inefficiency. Like you said ORU was the largest public dog and they WON!

So does it matter? I’m just asking. Think public dogs with line moves toward the favorite hold more merit (ORU and SYR today)

Thoughts?

Different sites have different numbers, sometimes the disparity is significant

UCLA +19
Colorado +17
Tennessee +23
Ok St. +15

now Loyola +14

Last 5 games Ore State crushed the spread.... not like football where a team covers by 14 but 7 was a punt return and 7 was a fumble recovery on the 5 yard line then run in after 2 plays.

AND different sites have different percentages, team bet %, money bet %, Willie is correct, and a lot comes in last hour so not a good way to wager.

Pac 12 is 10-1 ATS, every year one conference stands out, no way I thought this yr would be the Pac 12!

Obviously the Pac ten playing poorly against each other in their conference lulled is to sleep while Flashy
illinois and Michigan of the Big 10 made themselves look better than they really where
i was surely fooled by them before the tournament but as soon as i saw big 10 laying eggs i switched
good luck to all the rest of the way
