About a month ago, actually on 10-20, I predicted a Powell
and Rumsfeld resignation. I also said that Powell will write
a book about this administration and that the book will not
be favorable. Powell may have some scruples and I think
we will witness a book by the end of 2005. TK, whether you

That is exactly what I think will happen and happen soon.
Very shortly this administration will be saying things like
Powell was never really with us and then somehow end up with
he was really a "liberal" and end up with something like
Powell should be considered a traitor. I find that most
of the "brainwashed" R's will buy it all and dismiss a
possible book. But, I see it clearly. They will, if they
have to change a moderate Republican hero into a bum.

Rice appears to be officially in as SoS, with her second-in-command Stephen Hadley taking over her post as security adviser.
Of course she'll still have to go through the confirmation process and all, but it's hard to imagine that she would be turned down.

And a real world threat is getting worse every day in N Korea.
This country is a significant threat to world peace. They now
have the capability of supplying terrorists with enough
plutonium needed to build a bomb. IMO, it is not will we
ever face the destruction of a nuclear device but more likely
when. And if that horrendous day ever occurs it will be more
than likely that N Korea will somehow be involved and this
was the case even before the invasion of Iraq.
