i expected high scoring as there has been jawing between the two teams (they have been practicing against each other this week) and thought maybe they'd try to air it out on the dallas secondary....

weather/rain does not equate to unders...bad footing can hurt the defense a lot but i wouldnt expect either team to risk their starters on a bad field if they didnt have to

tony romo will not be in the game for long.

brad johnson will be playing a lot with the first team tonight as the cowboys are going to decide whether he can "drive the bus" or whether his time is over in dallas.

i am a cowboys fan and this is what is being discussed on the cowboys forums, however here are some links for you to ponder:

Quarterbacks: Wade Phillips has stated that the starting offense will play the entire half, with Tony Romo, Terrell Owens and Marion Barber coming out after the first quarter. This will give Brad Johnson the chance to have extended time playing behind the starting offensive line and should give us a better look at our backup quarterback situation. While Johnson certainly wasn't on fire last week, I also don't think he played so bad that everyone needed to go into hysterics. If Johnson is still unable to make the throws needed when he actually has time in the pocket, then I will really get concerned.

The Cowboys will give backup quarterback some extended time behind the first-team offensive line.

In the first preseason game, Johnson played under heavy pressure and was sacked twice and intercepted once.

Thanks buddy, that's what I needed. Although, it's good to hear that Romo and Co will get SOME playing time. Hoping to score 1 TD in that timespan. I'm hoping for a bad Denver Defense to show up.
