Yeah that will be a great game. I don't like Ill chicago going up against Kansas they were a possible sleeper but I would think KU gets it done there.

Pitt and Wisconsin is another potenial really good match-up. Surprised Wisconsin only got a #6 but I'm sure they'll take it knowing they get to play in Milwaukee.

Nice to see you matt

The question is can kansas beat providence?

If so can they also beat Kentucky?

Also I am stuck on GT BC

PS gonzaga will lose to Michstate oor the BCGT winner

now how good is that gonzaga win at marylland.

it's to bad the zags will be giving 3 or moreto state, that is if state even makes it to the second round.

the $$$ will be to easy.

Sagarin has Gonzaga as 9 pt favs over Michigan St. You think it will be that low, at 3?

actually i figured about 5-8, but with all the beef i got about gonzaga last week i figured saying what i really thought would be to much negativity.

i really think the if those two teams do play, the score is the 70's to 80's.
if state shoots well they could keep it close, but i think the lines makers will think like the rest of the country and make it a 5 point spread.

And i still think gonzaga wins by double digits.

if mich st shoots well.

They probably will, I think they are the 5th best shooting team in the country, maybe higher.

the Zags could not be in a better spot. Free ticket to the round of 8 and then who knows all the games are difficult.

i know that the % is that high, but why don't they score 75 points a game. it just doesn't add up in my book.

i've watched games and i really wonder how they got that %.

i just don't see state as that good of a team. maybe i'm missing something, somebody please tell what that is. truely being serious here.

i watched ill just destroy them, i watched mich own them for 35 to 38 minutes, though they did win, but i just don't get it.

with gonzaga's up and down style, a ton of shots, not to much slow down, and with the zags boarding ability i don't see a lot of second chance points.

plus guard play wins, and gonzaga has some outstanding guard play.

i went back and looked at states games vs tourney teams, out of 10 games, state only out shot their opp % wise twice. they lost both, kansas, and wisky.

and only once did they shoot over 50% and that was the last game against wisky, which they still lost.

shot 35% vs ucla
shot 41% vs ill
shot 36% ve okla
shot 39% vs wisky
shot 43% vs kentucky

this team isn't that good of an offense team.
very overrated.

plus twice teams shot over 60% against them.
cuse and kentucky.

just be careful and best of luck matt. i think the over would be a lock if posted any where near 135 to 142. probably higher.

state still has to get by nevada. not going to be an easy game.

serious.

a double play for me already.

nevada +2-
and i probably don't even need points.

Kentucky and Wisconsin are also probably 2 of the best 5 defensive teams in the nation. I never said I was playing Michigan St day 1 either, I will probably play them vs Gonzaga.

We are assuming MSU defeats Nevada. I am tempted to jump on MSU -2, but it seems too easy. I think its a trap.

haha

Could not be in a better spot?

They will face Mich State, then GT or BC, then either Kansas or Kentucky.

No cupcake IMO

not assuming anything, i think nevada wins outright.

state defense is just terriable.

don't defend the outside, can't rebound, don't have a go to guy. this team would struggle in the nit.

and another great seed for gonzaga.

they get the highest ranked team in the tourney.

but to win it all, you have to play the best regardless.

lets get it over sooner than later.

go zags

yep

matt and truely - the three of us rarely agree but if we ever did it would be dangerous...

I lean Mich State over zaga - but what do I know.

What I wanna know is what will the BC/GT line be - I suspect it will be like GT by some rediculous number. Any thoughts?

Yes - I make that assumption.

Could be wrong but I consider BCs competition like Providence, Pitt, Uconn, Cuse, Notre Dame, and even seton Hall in a much tougher category than Utah's which includes Wyoming, NM, BYU, SDSU, UNLV, etc.

Dont get me wrong - I dont take anything away from them for playing tough in their two losses vs air force, staying within 9 at Texas Tech, and splitting with just about everyone in their conference - which can be very competitive. But BC playing well in the Big east is an entirely different level.

Just one mans opinion
