From Numberfire, a site I really enjoy... They do the best job I've seen at breaking down numbers...

(Den) ended the season with the best rush defense numbers in the entire NFL. The Broncos prevented over 51 points from being scored on them via the ground over the course of the season, which was number one from both a cumulative and per rush standpoint.

Denver’s rush defense was best in the league when you adjusted their Defensive Rushing NEP for strength of schedule. The pass defense, on the other hand, ranked 22nd in the NFL this year, behind teams like Cleveland and Tampa Bay.

Russell Wilson ended the 2013 regular season with a Passing Net Expected Points total of 74.66, seventh-best in the NFL.

Although it's good info, I'm guessing that reason Manning's numbers were so bad in the cold previously is that they were always on the road. They improved i'm assuming because he moved to Denver, got more used to the cold, and had some cold home games.

50% Completions that's mind blowing awful

face)(*^%

Note that Seattle is close to last in the league in pass attempts. Manning completed more passes this year than Wilson attempted.

If Denver has been favored 3 or more straight times and they play the Seahawks they are 4/4 SU and 1/7 ATS..........avg score 23-26.4...-3.4 PPG

Cant be better against the pass though...

Yes they are a much better run D without Von Miller, they are also a much better run D without Elvis Dumervil as well. Ayers is much better in the base D against then run as Doom was undersized. Von Miller really only flies straight at the QB, so teams would often times run right at him. While Nate Irving who is his replacement is nowhere near the same pass rusher, he did play MLB in college. Danny Trevethan might be the most improved player on that D
