Popcorn Time was a popular pirating app that was shut down. They've evidently relaunched and are up and running again. I've never used it. Does anyone here use it? Is it that much different and/or better than your standard torrenting sites?

You can get the dumbed down version with a jailbroke apple tv on Ebay.
Basically they made to where all you have to do is push the movie or show you want.

I have it, its great.

When the cable co's figured out how to keep the average guy from being able to get free channels I thought those days were over. They were pretty successful. But they must now be much more vulnerable with individual channels selling their content over the net and with the phone and tablet emergence. Sounds like these Roku and Apple boxes are opening a door we have not seen in a while.

You don't need to pay that much. Buy a GBox midnight for $100.

You get anything that's on the internet.

or a Jailbroken Apple tv?

Picture quality on my TV is the most important think for me.

Gbox is cheaper and already comes with xbmc. the quality is 720. I don't know if apple tv supports 1080. Either way most of the movies online at XBMC only go up to 720p.

If I were you I'd download xbmc on your computer first and see if you like it. There is a big learning curve that most people aren't willing to put up with.

Holy shit. I surfing this thing with a woody right now.

This thing is awesome. Right up my ally.

Question....I have windows 8 installed. I downloaded this thing....surfed it for a while closed it....and now I dont know how to reopen it. I go to the actual file I downloaded and click on it and it starts the download wizard again. I just want to open the correct file. Any help?

That sounds strange. Go to the program section. Try to see if there is a shortcut on your desktop.

Ever since I got that gbox with xbmc I dumped Netflix.

I'm trying to download Istream as well as mashup but it says its downloading but I cant get it to work. Do I need to adjust a setting or adjust my anti virus software?

I've already watched a few youtube videos to help with no luck.

Its all preloaded. They do the technical work Im not good at for $175 Think i'm buying this instead.
