No way to hit the CB straight, and still cut the 8 in the corner imo.

AS THE RX SELF PROCLAIMED POOL GURU,I HAVE THE

TWO FOLLOWING SHOTS:

A. HIT THE CUE BALL AT 6' OCLOCK ENGLISH

SLOWLY; THE CUE BALL WILL MASSE AROUND

THE DEUCE, HENCE MAKING THE SHOT. THE

RELATIVE AIM AT THE EIGHT BALL IS AT THE

THIN RIGHT HAND EDGE OF ITSELF.

B. USE THE AIM ON CUE BALL AT 3 OCLOCK

POSITION BUT STRIKING THE RELATIVE AIM

POINT ON THE CUE BALL STRAIGHT IN THE

MIDDLE(CENTER),WITH EVEN SPEED,THIS WILL

CAUSE THE CUEBALL TO HIT THE RAIL,DOUBLE

KISS THE CUE BALL IN FORWARD PROGRESS,

THUS MAKING THE EIGHT BALL DOUBLEKISS

IN THE CORNER.

YOURS SINCERELY

Use very low and very right english and hit the cue ball only hard enough to propel the object ball to the ledge of the pocket. This is an easy shot.

vinividivinci...........yes that would work but only if there is enough distance between the cue-ball to the two ball...

i think the cue ball and two ball are too close together...

I agree with Singuru, 3 o'clock, medium speed, if the double kiss doesn't happen you might have cheated the pocket enough, or even table roll.
It's not a bad safety either. Would be easy to leave the cue ball jammed against the 8 or on the rail.

Daryl - Good question, no real answer, just trying to get an somewhat offbeat thread going. It was either this (pool), or "What poster would you most like to be buried alive with". I went with the pool.

If you decide to go the other direction I'll go with Lady Oracle. She is, after all, Babe-O-Licious!!

Without question it can.... and fairly easily also.

The easist way is to hold the stick almost(20% angle)straight up in the air and come down with slight right/low english.

Hard to explain in a forum setting, but you will be holding the cue in your right hand something similar to that of holding a pencil.

Fishhead is correct, the ball will start left then turn back to the right.. Not exactly an easy shot like everyones states..

You could also shave the left edge off the 2 ball with left top english using the 2 almost as a bank.

I'd love to get one of you guys on a table..

Vegas would be a great platform for an RX pool tourney?

A properly set up table would not have those shadows. The lights are supposed to be directly
overhead and spaced so the light hits on top of any ball anywhere on the table eliminating shadows. This shot will look different under those conditions.....ScottyS
