SEMO AT IOWA

Iowa comes into this game with a 4-0 record against the likes of Charleston Southern 68-48, Texas-San Antonio 73-67, The Citadel 70-48, and Oakland 66-57. Iowa's roster of 13 players includes five freshmen, three sophomores, three juniors and two seniors. Iowa's starting line-up in the first four games has included three true freshmen, including forward Aaron Fuller and guards Matt Gatens and Andrew Tucker. This is a young team in rebuilding mode.
SEMO finally got back 6'9" center Calvin Williams this past Friday in a home game against NAIA Culver-Stockton which they easily won 89-50. Culver-Stockton didn't pose any kind of a threat to SEMO but the game did give Williams a chance to knock the rust off. A few things are starting to become apperent to me about this team. 1) They will be a better rebounding team this year than in years past. 2) They will be a MUCH better freethrow shooting team than last years team. 3) The coaching staff is pretty good at making halftime adjustments. This team is still struggling on the defensive end but will get better as the year goes on.
In this game I believe this is way too many points for a young Iowa team to be giving against a team that just won't quit and keeps getting better the more they play.
I really like Tenn-Martin at home against a rebuilding Arkansas St. team. I bet all these games last night and the line has moved on some of 2 of them. If the SEMO game gets up to 20 I'll probable put more on it.
5 SEMO +18.5 -110
4 TENN-MARTIN -4 -120
3 CREIGHTON -3 -120
