They actually do........but not like an employee. They usually pay you back by giving you your rake back which is huge because you just want to play to break even and then your monthly rake back will be profit. Usually they have someone who manages and will tell you which tabled to sit at etc... The idea is to provide play at all tables and most of the smaller poker rooms will use these kind of prop players.....

I am looking for a part time position. Got + 6 years experience in on line poker and I am now working in something totally different so there is no conflict of interest. I am just looking to earn some extra cash and think that I could be a good asset for a poker room, could work doing C.S., reading hands checking for colluding players, chip dumping, training, preparing training material, running reports to keep track of rake, tournaments fees, real money players, new sign ups, new deposits, etc; helping players with fail deposits or with installation problems, etc...

Cheap ass.... $4.5??? you only going to get green reps for that amount bro... so if your targeting experience clerks they are worth a lot more. raise the amount and you will have a lot more interest from the forum. If I recommend you any of my friends and tell them $4.5 they will make fun of me for months.

They are called PROP players, but a poker site would only take a minimum number of players. They are usually contracted just to increase the traffic.
