I lost quite a bit last few weeks, and this week i went big to try and get it all back, and failed miserably. Im down way more that i can handle. I cant even afford half of it. Im 19, and if my parents find out they will kick me out of the house. I can no longer afford my tuition. These people are going to start coming after me. I need advice on what I can do. I have lots of uncles who are cool, but i just dont know what to say to them, and i dont know how they will react. U ppl have no idea how bad this situation is right now. If i emptied my bank account i would have paid about 60% of it. I still havent paid my losses from last week and part of week before that. Im not even going to throw around numbers.

All suggestions, advice and opinions, or even simmilar comfort stories are greatly appreciated. How would you act in this situation?

Thank you greatly

The usual advice is: stop gambling, get a job, and work out a payment plan with your man.

#1- your 19 years old, you shouldnt be betting on credit, espically when your a 'poor" college student. If your going to bet, you should go offshore where you atleast have to prefund your account, so atleast you have the cash your betting and not going into debt.

#2 if your credit is not horrible, try to get a loan or a credit card and take out an advance to pay off your local and help fund tuition.

#3 reduce your bets by a large amount or stop all together for awhile. Also probably find someone on here to tail on plays instead of picking your own games as you seem to be taking a beating for an extended period of time now

tell your man that you want to pay but cant. tell him you want to man up and own it. he'll respect you for that.. maybe. either way, as embarassing as it, just remember that you are 19 and by the time you are 20 (depending on how much you lost) you wont have that horrible feeling in your gut anymore and this will all be forgotten... as long as you dont keep digging the hole

Bro, this isn't the place to be asking for help.. This is a gambling forum filled with losing degenerates.. BY NO MEANS should you try to WIN it back.. You just did, and look where you're at now. Gambling your way out of this is NOT an option, PERIOD.

You're going to have to get a job and work as many hours as you can fit into your schedule out around school. Stop going out and partying if you do now. This is your first priority. If you are serious about them coming after you and you are in danger, paying this off becomes your first priority for now.

If you are able to pay this off, or in any case, you also need to stop gambling. Forever. And even if you were to have won your last chase bet I would tell you the same thing. It is clearly not for you, and you need to stop it now.

My suggestion is to go to your uncles and fess up.

Borrow the money from them. Blood is thicker than water, and they are FAMILY. Better that than to see YOUR blood being spilled by some GUIDO bonebreaker "collectors." :scared1:

Pay off the debt you owe the bookies and STOP GAMBLING! It's obvious that you don't have the discipline YET to be doing this endeavor.

If you can't stop the urge, please seek out GAMBLERS ANONYMOUS in Canada.

DEAR LOOSER...! I don't know what to say...But...

You are 19...Am I right.? With this kind of sports gambling ... Please don't be so stubborn...First is to learn be patient with this kind of gambling...Don't think you win one then you can win the whole world. Watch and learn from Ck, C_LO...Arties...Don't put too much money in one game...I don't know how much you lost. As of this time be honest with yourself and your uncle...Discuss with them and see how they can help. They will yell but don't kill you. Every lesson you either pay by money or your life. Please admit that you have a problem with gamble. Please seek for help immediately. Good luck to your next lesson. Hope you make the better choice. Sincerely

Thank you all so much. I greatly appreciate all of your advice. I talked to my guy, and we worked out an arrangement, I will give him 10% of what i owe each week for the next 13 weeks. So i have to pay 30% interest over the next 13 weeks. This seemed to me to be a very fair deal. Also, I am working part time at a butcher shop. I will be able to get through this thanks to all of you and your advice which helped me work up the courage to explain my situation to my bookie. After 3 weeks of payment my account will open, but with a limit. Once i loose a certain amount in a week, my account will close for the rest of the week, as per my request. And believe me, the limit is not very big.

Thank you all very much, I could not have done it without you,

Alex
