Well the Yanks manage to lose the first game of a playoff series at home again. What have the Yanks done in the second game? They came back to beat the Twins 4-1 and beat the Sox 6-2.

The pitcher for the Bronx Bombers in each second game was Andy Pettitte. With the exception of his last start (Game 6), Pettitte has won the previous 6 games by 3 runs or more. I'm willing to bet Pettitte and the Yanks will be focused and motivated to put in another good second-game performance, this time against Redman of the Marlins.

Yankees -1.5 -106 over Marlins
Pettitte/Redman

The total line of 9.5 is too high for Yankee Stadium in this type of a game. Last night's game ended at 3-2 and I think both pitchers will keep it under the 9 1/2.

Marlins at Yankees UNDER 9.5 -110

Thank you General. You're a gentleman and a scholar. Or is that an officer and a gentleman?
