Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports Plaxico Burress has shot himself in the leg, accidentally. He's out indefinitely.

ESPN's John Clayton is reporting the incident took place in a club. Plax was reportedly carrying a loaded gun that went off unexpectedly late Friday night or Saturday morning. He spent the night in the hospital, but the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. It's well past time to pick up Domenik Hixon, but grab him if he's still available. Nov. 29 - 11:09 am et

Carrying a weapon in a club is a big time NO NO here in Florida regardless of any weapons permit you may have. I do not know about other states, but I would think he has to be facing some sort of charge....

If you walk into a club with a pistol and get caught you need to do a min. of 3 years no questions asked! Give me ONE reason why anyone other than a cop would have a need for firearms in a nightclub? How many more nightclub shootings do we need to read about on Sunday mornings until something is done?

He is one of these pro athletes who always seems to find trouble. He was a question mark coming out of Mich St for various reasons, now you see why. They say all the right things at the mic the next day so you tend to forgive them and then a short time later they piss you off again for another problem.

Felony weapons charges on the way

Nice job, dumbass

In 2006, New York beefed up its laws regarding illegal gun possession. The following year, New York City officials embarked on a campaign aimed at communicating to all citizens the serious consequences of illegal gun possession.
“GUNS = PRISON” was the message.
“Last year, our Administration succeeded in pushing through a law that gives New York the toughest penalty in the country for carrying an illegal loaded handgun,” New York mayor Michael Bloomberg said in July 2007. “Now, if you are convicted, you will serve a minimum of 3-1/2 years behind bars — no exceptions.” :ohno:

I used to be totally against guns, but after seeing time and time again things like in India happen, I am beginning to think carrying one isnt such a bad idea.

I don't have anything against guns, but nothing good can come from these guys carrying them while out clubbing or getting lit up at the bar.
