The Pirates hitting is unreal right now but the starting pitching has become a ? mark....locke is a liability right now,Cole had his first good game since the all star break but still did not get the win....liriano seems to be hitting better than pitching even though he had a good outing his last game.I'm afraid the bullpen is going to get tired which i hope they don't.
I hope this is STL losing streak us Pirate fans have been waiting for and we keep winning.I don't know who made the schedule for this season but the Pirates have a brutal september ahead.If you have not looked at it yet just take a glance at it and see the 2 huge road trips they have to endure.They start off with a 9 game road trip then come home for a normal home series and then they hit the road for 10 more which is mostly a west coast trip and takes them to just about the end of september and just guess who come in for the final 3 of the month,...yea the cardinals,so its not going to be easy but i sure hope they win the division as i'm tired of these 1 game playoffs which i agree they should be the best out of 3

The Pirates have the 2nd best team ERA in all of baseball at 3.17......Can`t argue with that.
yea but most of those numbers come from the first half of the season.since the all star break it has not been the same,like i said,COLE has not won a game yet,LOCKE is very up and down,LIRIANO did have a good game the other night but in the 8th fell apart,MORTON has been hit around a bit more which he is his own worst enemy by walking people,and believe it or not J.A. HAPP has been the consistant one with 2 really nice outings in a row..........hey don't get me wrong as im a huge PIRATE FAN and i hope all goes well.im just looking ahead of what can happen and i hope they prove me wrong,......LETS GO BUCS
I hope your Pirates do well for ya.........You can never put your finger on the pitching when the team ERA is 3.17......What 1st half of the season????.....120 games played and your team ERA 3.17......Pitching is obviously the Pirates strength......You need to look for another weakness,because its not the pitching at 3.17.
