Taking under 98.5 before the season started made all the sense in the world and offered +EV. Unfortunately not all +EV end up being a +! It was a good bet with a bad result. Make enough of these and you know the result.

Although I liked the under I didn't take it opting for Washington over 93.5 instead. I too had Phoenix over 82.5 and confronted with that choice before the season started I would have jumped just as fast to take it.

I did take San Jose over 116.5 at BetVegasVic half way through the year and this third bet will put me in the back for NHL season point totals.
