Did you know that yesterday the overs went 3-9? Only the astute better would have figured that it was inevitable that after weeks of domination by the overs that the unders would show up.
Now for MNF, historically it is the home team or FAV and the overs. TV prime time. Showing off in front of a national audience (do they broadcast in Mexico and abroad).
Perception: Steelers bounce back after horrible loss to the JETS of all teams and TENN with a new QB (Zach Mettenberge) really doesn't have a chance. Right? Line opens at -4 for the mighty Steelers and it has moved up to 6.5 & 7 in a few places. Must be the Steelers tonight. Right? Oh, didn't Pitt struggle at the Jets, Cleveland, Jacksonville and Baltimore -- why should Tennessee be any different? Right? Did you know that linebacker Ryan Shazier (ankle) and safety Troy Polamalu (knee) are both expected to miss tonight's game? Won't make a difference! Right? Line keeps inching up. Maybe we'll see 7.5 and Pitt covers. Right? Did you know that the FAVs went 4-8 ATS on Sunday? Things will change tonight especially since the books took a hit late yesterday on the GB and NE game.

Books are pushing the unders in the MNF game. Opened at 46 now 45.5. TENN can't score with a new QB. It will have to be up to Pitt to do the scoring. It must go under tonight. Right?

Whats you pick for tonight?

but the SNF game went over even with a big number, continuing the trend of overs in national games in prime time

You guys ever look at weather reports this time of year before taking action??? It's gonna be a serious Steelers kinda night, but very unseasonable for Nashville, I know, I went to high school near there and then played ball at Vandy which is five miles from the Titans Stadium. So cold and wind will be a factor. As Red Elephants pointed out, Tennessee gonna be without some O weapons, and this on a team that ranks 31st in O to begin with. Yeah, being a black and gold bleeding die-hard Steeler fan (from the Burgh originally), don't like Poly and Shazier's absence, but Steelers are 18-2 against rookie QB's, can't tell you right now who the lucky two were, but Tennessee not gonna score much here. I was being facetious regarding going under since the 'books' are pushing it. Big Ben could have another great night in the limelight of a National audience and he could also struggle like he did against the Jets, and Jacksonville.

Very reasonable picks since like you mentioned Pitt having it's way with a rookie QB.
Hope you got it at a lower line.

Rumor is that Ben is going to step out at halftime to rape someone?

Congrats, you've added tremendous insight to an otherwise intelligent discussion. Jeezus, I don't remember anyone singing, or humming for that matter, "Send in the Clowns."

I didn't know jokes about this topic still existed. Interesting attempt to be funny.

He's been spending the past 72 hours watching all the garbage on the net about Cosby and felt compelled to join the fray. Wish they had a damn ignore feature on the RX.

An ignore feature would be great! Or a dislike/thumbs down button. The exact opposite of the thumb up on FB.

Sorry to upset all the sensitive people in here.

Fact remains.... what I mentioned will be what Ben will be MOST remembered for after his playing days. Can you say "big strong half-ass"?

P.S. Whoever required all teams to make an appearance in prime time...... should be cut loose immediately. Don't forget to give all the layers their "participation" trophies at the end of the seasons.

OK, enough "pirating" CPW's thread about a dumbass, this is supposed to be about Pitt/Tenn. Ya got good comments/intel/stats, hell, at this point, anything game related including the cheerleaders, chime in.

"Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee Sunday, but coach Bruce Arians said the receiver expects to play this Sunday in a big NFC West game at Seattle.

The Cardinals will see how he feels Wednesday, but Arians told the team's website that it is a Grade 2 sprain and "he looks OK" to play."
