And he is on ESPN? How does a guy that can't even talk right
get to have a job on ESPN? He is the worst tv personality
of all time IMO... Seriously have you guys seen this guy talk?
Pippen stutters and just looks like a dummy talking.

What do you guys think?

He is horrible. They might want to give guys auditions first. If not, let the fans vote again. They took Dee Brown. They need to get Pippens teammate that came in 2nd his job. What a disgrace to t.v.

You are right that Pippen is terrible. However, Pippen sounds like Bob Costas compared to BJ Armstrong. BJ is by far the worst NBA analyst that I have ever heard. Still have no clue as to how he got the job and how he still has the job. He is terrible!

Thought they canned BJ already, has he been on lately? Last time he was on was during the Cleveland Cav's game and he made some dumb remarks about the second coming of MJ aka LeBron, and hadn't been back since.

But the one I can't stand is Steven A. Smith. He comes across as talking down on anybody, and everybody within hearing distance. The guy literally shouted down everybody on the set when he talks. He may have good opinion but he comes across as a know-it-all, and that doesn't bode well.

Yeah, Pippin's "Shaq dominating for decades" comment cracked me up. I mean, I understand the sports network brass wanting ex-players for color analysis and it adds if he's well known and has a few rings under his belt but where the hell do they do they draw the line? It's a scary thought that this is the best they can do. Basically anyone that can parrot a steady stream of tire old cliche and start cracking joke and horsing around every time they go to commercial (I still hate that broadcasting "style" that Bradshaw's NFL team started a few years back) can get the job.

Thanks for agreeing with me guys. I never saw Blow Job Armstrong
analysis, sounds like it is a good thing if he is even close
to being as bad as Pippen.

Pippen is very uncomfortable, he stutters and comes on as
an extremely unintelligent person. How come they keep inviting
him back??

Agreed! I couldn't have put it any better. He acts like he's on "Quite Frankly" 24 hours a day. Maybe cool on a over opinionated type of show, but not during the pre-game analysis. What a jackass!

With all that said, it's amazing how a few bling blings can carry you a long way after your time's up.

BJ Armstrong, after life as expert analysis ESPN
Bill Wennington, afte life as Bulls color commentator in Chicago market
John Paxton, GM Chicago Bulls
Steve Kerr, Color commentator on TNT
Bill Cartwright, assistance coach Bulls for a time, don't know where he went now
Scottie Pippen, commentator on the 4 letters channel
Craig Hodges, a college coach Div III
Dave Corzine, college coach somewhere
Doug Collin, color commentator TNT

What do they all have in common? All related to MJ one way or another, and 3 to 6 blinks blinks at one time or another.

And where's MJ? He's unemployed right now, looking for a job as Pres/Owner anything else need not applied. :toast::toast::toast:

I am glad to have seen it unfolded in my hometown. And endured the BBALL blues when there was no game to see. :nopityA:

Man, that was fun time back then, Beers, BULLS, and the Blues while waiting for the next playoffs game to come around. :monsters-

good post T-Bone. You are right.

Sometimes fate just toss something your way but don't realize it until it exploded like a 4th of July Fireworks.

When MJ arrived in Chicago, and before the United Center, the Bulls used to have their daily practices at a tiny gym next door to St. Henry cemetery. And my dad was a janitor there, so I'd stop by and watch them all the time. Artist Gilmore was the big dog back then. Got to see them in person everyday whenever they're there. But man, that was before Ebay and autograph balls etc.. plus you see them everday, so it didn't seem like a big deal then. But that was a nice memory though... hanging around the gym and nobody gave a hassle until they went Prime Time, then the stars emerged and just kinda drifted away, so little shrimps and low lives don't get to see them as one of us anymore.... because they're big times multi $$$mils business. Good memory though. My mom still lives 3 blocks from that gym today. :toast:

Did anyone catch "Quite Frankly" last night? If anyone is a Steelers fan, they probably wanted to shoot him. He was making (at least what I thought) a huge joke out of Big Ben's accident. I thought it was totally uncalled for.
