i love this talk that Rachel is getting how its going to be so easy to beat the boys. I will be shocked if she hits the board to be honest. But that's not what I care about. Pioneer of the Nile is a LOCK to win the preakness. Baffert has this horse so sharp right now, I will be suprised if anyone comes within 5 lengths of this monster. He would of won the derby, if not for the sloppy track, and miracle trip of a horse the jocket's all forgot about.


Pioneer of the Nile will show up on the fast track this saturday and crush this field. We will be saying , "how the hell did this horse lose the derby" after this race.

now if you can get 5 to 1. I will gladly put $10,000 on that. But more likely you will get 2 to 1. But i hope there is "dumb money" bet on rachel and mine that bird, so pioneer can go off a good price. But i know a lot of insiders who will be unloading on this horse on saturday.

Don't discount Musket Man, finished a nose behind Pioneer, and he has a late kick which could come in handy with that extra 1.5 furlongs.
Musket Man is a sprinter, but his off the pace style suggests he can go 9.5 furlongs as well.

Baffert is super confident about Pioneer of the Nile winning this race, hes training great, he looks amazing, and the owners want to win real bad due to the bad press they recieved Sunday about trying to shut out Rachel.

Big Drama will go out for the lead, set fast fractions, Rachel will be close to the lead, and when Gomez is sitting like 5th or 6th, and makes that big move up to the leader, Rachel won't know what hit her. She will be tested for the first time in a long timer, and she is going to bounce off that huge run 2 weeks ago. Pioneer of the Nile is peaking at the right time.

I don't know about the "lock", but that part is certainly true. The hype of Mine That Bird and Rachel Alexandra will attract more money than they deserve. It's a big race with a lot of amateur money. I haven't picked my horse yet, but there's value in the field.

I agree. Pioneer would be my first choice. There looks to be a ton of front end speed in this race..No matter who wins, I really like Terrain to come in and possibly clean up on the tired horses for second.
